Candidates

Herndon voters will have the opportunity to elect 6 people to serve on the 2021 – 2022 Town Council. Eight candidates will be on the ballot. I consider this race more of a “job interview” than the hyper partisan political races we see at higher levels of government. My goal is not to run against anyone but rather run on my merits and what I can bring to the Council as a whole.

It is important that voters take time to get to know each of the candidates and what they can bring to the Council. Sadly — especially in a presidential election year — many people will not pay much attention to this race and will simply vote off political party sample ballots, name recognition, or ballot order. If you are reading my website, I am hoping you want to know more about each of us.

I am providing the full list of candidates and their public campaign information (as it becomes available) below to assist you in learning about all of us. Obviously I hope you will vote for #Porter4Herndon, but I want that to be an informed decision.
